Thanks to the enormous amount of business travel we've both done, we've racked up enough frequent flier miles to take us to a number of great places, including:

Paris, London, Milan, Rome, Florence, Zurich, Tokyo, Hawaii, Rio, Sao Paolo, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, Bahamas, Grand Cayman, Sydney, Melbourne, and a Kenyan Safari, to name a few

We've put some of the photos from those travels on the Photos page, and will over time use this page to share travel tips on some of the places we've been to.

Our most memorable was last September, when we found ourselves on the east coast when the terrorist attacks hit.  Mike was in Atlanta, Margaret was in Connecticut, and on Sept 12 we met at Lloyd's house in New Jersey.  On the 13th, we began a 3-day marathon drive home, traveling about 1000 miles a day in a rented Isuzu mini-SUV.  We passed through 17 of these great United States, stopping just to eat, refuel, and sleep.  Most eerie was the lack of airplanes in the skies - especially for us fliers.  Even though the total trip took four days, we still arrived home sooner than some of our colleagues who waited for air traffic to resume, and it was great to be in our own bed on that Friday.
